I painted this in a watercolor class I took at San Ramon Valley College. The collage was created by cutting images from magazines then painting it.
My thanks goes to Scott King, who is a great watercolor teacher. He taught me everything I know about watercolors.

ReplyDeleteThis is a great composition - I love both the colors and the bits of the insects. You have a really great blog - lots of wonderful work in a variety of styles.
ReplyDeleteCool collage - the wing on the bottom right is my fave:) I feel a little uncomfortable looking at beetle bodies & faces close-up, but I guess that's just because you painted them so well. Nice work :)
ReplyDeleteThat's a really good picture, and an unusual take.
ReplyDeleteGreat painting, It's fun trying to guess the bugs in it.
